Instructions for use
When filling the hot water bottle, fill to a maximum of two-thirds capacity or less. Overfilling may cause the bottle to burst. DO NOT use boiling water.
- Hold the bottle by the neck in an upright position and fill slowly to avoid hot water splashing back.
- Expel air from the bottle by lowering it carefully onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening.
- To prevent leaking, ensure the stopper is screwed sufficiently tight and make sure the funnel is empty.
- Keep the cover on the bottle when in use to prevent contact with skin which can cause burns.
- Under no circumstance should the hot water bottle be used as a cushion or be seated on.
- Do not fill using water from the domestic hot water system as this can shorten the life of the hot water bottle.
- Prevent contact with hot surfaces, oil, or grease.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
When not in use, drain completely, remove the stopper, and keep in a cool, dry, dark place.
Warning – For your safety
- Carefully inspect the entire bottle and the stopper before use. Discard immediately at first signs of deterioration, wear, damage, or defect.
- To be stored out of reach of children. Small parts can present a choking hazard.
- For children, only use under constant adult supervision and use cooler water.
- Only use the stopper provided with this bottle, using any other stopper could cause the bottle to leak.
WARNING – HOT WATER BOTTLE CAN CAUSE BURNS. AVOID PROLONGED DIRECT CONTACT WITH SKIN.
