.Hearth Brush – tampico/hemp

Handmade, soft hearth brush, made from natural tampico fibres with hemp twine handles. The handle twine is black, the hanging loop is orange. Made for us by a local maker, Annabelle of “Wood n Feathers” in the Chilli Penguin brand colours of black and orange. She makes these beautiful natural brushes in front of her Chilli Penguin Stove. We use them for hearth brushes but they can be used for anything, they are genuinely beautiful and soft to touch. If you want a slightly stiffer brush, look at the broomcorn brushes, also in the shop.

Tampico a is natural fibre derived mainly from the agave plant. The brushes are entirely biodegradable at the end of their life.
