These fire bricks are for the following stoves:
Short Penguin, Hungry Penguin, Fat Penguin, High & Mighty and the Chubby manufactured between 2003 and 2010

Bricks are available individually as well.

If your bricks differ from those shown you may have the 2010 set or Ecodesign.

    There are 4 vermiculite bricks for the Short Penguin Family pre-Ecodesign range, manufactured between 2003 and 2010:

    • left side
    • right side
    • rear
    • throat plate brick

    For stoves made before 2010 there are two possible sets of pre-Ecodesign bricks depending on the year of production. If your stove has the original bricks that are 16mm thick, you will need to replace them with full set of pre-2010 bricks. You will also need a new metal throat plate, so that the bricks fit correctly (remember for all future orders that you will be ordering from the 2003 bricks).

    Check the images in “additional information” to make sure they are the correct bricks for your stove.

    1.  Dispatch times

    We aim to dispatch all orders within 5 working days, except over our two holiday periods every year, when we are not fully staffed. We will do our very best to meet these dates if items are in stock. Our holiday dates will be advertised well in advance, usually during early August and late December. Our last order date for pre Christmas deliveries is usually close to the 15th December.

    2.  Shipping costs

    We ship within the UK only. Shipping costs are calculated automatically for you depending on weight and postal area. You may be offered different shipping options depending on your postcode  and the parcel weight. Paint aerosols have particular shipping requirements and cost slightly more to ship.

    3. Returns

    If there is any problem with a product  please contact us by phone or email. If an item needs to be returned, buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value. Items must be returned within 21 days of delivery.
